Jesus
Christ’s own supreme act of faith was to let himself
be nailed to the cross. He saw past his own death at the
hands of men to the time when He would gloriously attain
majesty and splendor.
“Let
us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our
faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross,
scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the
throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2)
